Central heating engineer job with Christopher Plumbing Services Ltd
Christopher Plumbing Services Ltd is a small but established plumbing and central heating company serving the Basingstoke, Andover and Fleet area.
We currently have two positions available:
- Gas Safe registered central heating engineer (see below);
- Bathrom fitter/general plumbing services engineer (details here);

Vacancy: Gas Safe registered engineer
We are looking for an employee or full-time, permanent contractor.
Duties include
- Boiler and gas fire servicing;
- Landlord Gas Safety Records;
- Gas Safety checks;
- Boiler installation, triage and repair;
- General water plumbing.
Qualifications / Requirements
- At least three years experience with Gas Safe, unvented qualification;
- NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating (preferred);
- A-Level or equivalent education (preferred);
- Additional qualifications/experience with electrical Part P or similar would be an advantage;
- Provide your own tools (however, we can supply gas analysers and some other essential or expensive equipment to facilitate the work required).
- If applying as a contractor, you will need a suitable vehicle.
Terms (employee)
- Variable working hours between 8am and 5.30pm;
- Monday to Friday, no weekends or bank holidays;
- 20 days holiday;
- Company van supplied and fuel paid for;
- Salary: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year (dependent on experience etc);
- Chance of an annual bonus.
