We maintain good communication with the customer from first point of contact through to final invoice, helped by efficient use of technology to keep comprehensive records with photos, job details, time logs and so on.

What happens when our engineer visits?
We usually give appointment times such as between 9am-10am. If there is any delay, we will contact the customer.
All appointments are time-logged. The customer will be asked to provide a digital signature on the engineer's iPad when work commences (see note below) and upon completion.
We would politely request that customers view our our prices and Terms and Conditions before the appointment. This is important because when we ask customers to sign at the start of work, we are also asking them to confirm acceptance of our T&Cs. Website links are provided in emails/texts and printable PDFs can also be downloaded.
We maintain records for each customer and property. This might include information provided by the customer (such as parking suggestions), history of previous work carried out, technical details about the heating system and any before/after photos and comments recorded by the engineer. These notes also help maintain continuity if a different engineer visits the property.
The engineer will keep the customer fully informed of issues arising; sometimes these issues may affect the time and/or materials allocated to the job - and therefore, the cost. Some advisory comments might be included on the customer’s invoice for information.
Payment by cash, cheque or debit card (no credit cards) is due immediately upon completion of the work. The fully detailed invoice will be presented by the engineer. The engineers are equipped to take secure debit card payments.
