Gas safety check
This can only be carried out by a Registered Gas Safe engineer, ensuring gas boilers, fittings and appliances are safe to use:
- checking the flue or chimney to ensure fumes are safely removed
- checking there is sufficient fresh air for the gas to burn properly
- checking that the appliance itself is burning the gas properly
- checking all safety devices are working correctly.

Please note: a gas safety check does not include cleaning. This would be included in the more comprehensive service whereby the boiler or appliance is thoroughly cleaned in addition to the gas safety checks listed above.
In addition, we strongly recommend installing a carbon monoxide detector for year-round peace of mind (and when fitting a new boiler, we now include this as part of our service).
